Biography: Colleen Haskell

Colleen Haskell

Colleen Marie Haskell was a contestant on the first season of the American reality show Survivor. She was born December 6, 1976 in Bethesda, Maryland to John and Patricia Haskell. Haskell was a graduate of the University of Georgia.

Haskell was a castaway on the Pagong tribe. She finished in 6th place as the last member of her tribe remaining in the game. Bryant Gumbel tagged her as "America's Sweetheart" due to her fair play, witty observations and girl next door appearance. She was arguably the most popular castaway from the first season and is still a fan favorite.

In 2001 she starred in the comedic film The Animal, playing Rob Schneider's love interest. In 2003, she worked as an assistant producer on The Michael Essamy Show.

Haskell's final words after being voted off were "Play fair, be nice".
